REVIEW OF “INCOGNITO IN WHISHY WASHY” (OTTAWA FRINGE 2017)
Incognito: In Wishy Washy

Shuffle, shuffle, shuffle.

Incognito: In Whishy Washy is a very fun, funny and entertaining show. This, even though clowns have a bad rap these days, as witnessed by the audio introduction which features various news reports of (bad) clown sightings.

And then Incognito makes his entrance, in a most entertaining way, setting the stage for the fun that ensues. Incognito the Clown (Mike Kosowan), having been let down by his clown friends has gone…incognito, trying his hand at magic. And failing in a deliberately hilarious, very fun, way.  But he doesn’t want to fail, he wants to get ahead and succeed. He wants to make real magic, and enters into a bit of a Faustian pact with a genie. Not too, too Faustian though, as this is a great piece of comedy.

As he shuffle, shuffle, shuffles through his card “tricks” you’ll be laughing all the way both at, and with Incognito.
