Little Shop of Horrors is a musical that’s based on a movie that based on a musical that’s based on a movie. And the 50s style theme and sensibilities of it are due to the fact that the original, original (Roger Corman) was released in 1960.

This production, by Ottawa’s Theatre Kraken, is madcap fun with amazing puppeteering and great singing. The comedic timing is superb and it really is top notch and a first rate production.

The core of Little Shop of Horror is sacrifice, and what you’re willing to sacrifice for fame and fortune. Or rather, who are you willing to sacrifice! Along the way there’s singing and dancing, plenty of mayhem and lots of fun.
