Fly Me To The Moon

October 30th 2012 - 8:00pm

Have you ever had a workday go from bad to worse? Francis and Loretta are home care workers in Belfast. They take care of an elderly man named davy, who has a passion for Frank Sinatra and playing the ponies. When davy dies in the loo, Francis and Loretta tell one lie that leads to another and another... and then another. An attempt to beat the system throws them headlong into an excruciating â?? yet hilarious â?? wild ride. A black comedy with an Irish twist by the author of the hit play Stones in his Pockets.

    Treepot2: An Indie Filmmaker Showcase – ByTowne Cinema – March 29, 2012

After playing to a capacity crowd in September 2011, the Treepot Indie Filmmaker Festival is back on March 29th, 2012.  Treepot2 is not a festival, not a contest.  Once again, it’s a handful of independent filmmakers inviting the general public, fans and friends to enjoy their work projected on big screen at the historic ByTowne Cinema in downtown Ottawa.  So come on out, bring your friends and show your support for indie film.

Treepot Media presents Indie Filmmaker Showcase featuring the short films, documentaries and music videos by: Jeremy Kennedy, Derek Price, Kristian Lariviere, Kevin Friel, Hasi Eldib & Lisa Thomas, Jean-François Dufault, Lindsey Reeswith, Marc-Antoine Cuerrier & Chris Chitaroni.

Tickets $10, sold at the door.  Doors open at 6:30pm.  The show starts at 7:00pm.

The ByTowne Cinema and SAW video are getting on the celebration by offering over $200 dollars in prizes to those who help us promote the event.  Check treepotmedia.com for more information.

There will be screentime allocated to showcase teasers and trailers for upcoming indie projects.  Contact mail@treepotmedia.com if you have a project for consideration.
