Oh, the Humanitone! Name that Nose Flute Tune Contest
August 14th, 2010 by Susan Murphy
In an Internet first, Bob LeDrew and Susan Murphy stage the only known rendition of a classic song ever recorded on the Humanitone, or Nose Flute. The thing is, we’re making you guess what song we’re snorting. Watch the video, listen closely, and if you’re not too grossed out, write your guess in the comments. Correct guesses will be entered in a draw to win something terribly cool from the organizers of the Ottawa Folk Festival!

Ok. that was easy … Stairway to Heaven.
I’m shocked the nose flute isn’t more popular. On second thought, I’m not shocked at all.

Stairway to Heaven! Best version ever!!!

It’s a rousing rendition of Stairway to Heaven. Though I know, deep in my heart, Ledrew was about to break into Enter Sandman.
PS Wouldn’t that be nose “floutist”?

I know what it is, STH. I love the fact you thought of this contest and then did it. Fantastic. Ottawatonite.com tells me about stuff…and makes me laff. Well done you guys.
