Man, my grandmomma was Italian and she made the most delicious meatballs I ever tasted, like you wouldnt believe. Sadly, she didnt leave a single recipe for me so I've been trying to figure it out on my own... slowly working my through the meatball recipes here, I still cant figure out what her secret ingredient was though!!!

Well, there were vegetarian options at
Credible Edibles (78 Hinton Avenue North)
– roasted red pepper hummus on pita
– carrot cake
– chips and salsa

Sushi Umi (1311 Wellington Street W.)
– asparagus maki rolls and edamame

Vina Del Mar (1079 Wellington Street W.)
– Chilean sopaipilla’s (squash filled dumplings) with salsa

Incidentally, during WestFest, the Branch Restaurant (15 Clothier Street East, Kemptville) served the most amazing hummus wrap in the “WestFest Cafe.” The Branch has a stall at the Ottawa Farmers’ market at Lansdowne now as well.
