EFARM plays Healing Haiti – An Earthquake Relief Fundraiser
Local band EFARM has a couple of gigs coming up in May and June. You can see them at Healing Haiti – An Earthquake Relief Fundraiser for Team Canada Healing Hands at Greenfield’s Pub on Sunday, May 30th and later on at Westfest’s Main Stage on Sunday, June 13 from 2 to 2:45 p.m.
EFARM has been around since 1992 and have released two albums. 1999 saw the release of Doomed Anyway, and a few years later the 2003 release of Telephone. Their sound is partly rock and roll with a healthy dose of country and a touch of the Maritimes. They add their own sound to many covers and show off their combined talents with original songs. EFARM is Dosh Korycan, Theresa McInerney, Trevor May and Art Castonguay.
A subset of EFARM is Cornflower Blue with Trevor May and Theresa McInerney. They’re a folk duet who combine 6 and 12 string electric guitars and vocal harmonies to play classic, modern and original folk music.
OttawaTonite.com has added some EFARM and Cornflower Blue tracks to the online music player. Enjoy these tracks and if you’re interested in more, visit the EFARM and Cornflower Blue websites, or come see the live show!
